2002 (Freshman): Finished fourth and set a personal record with 58.98 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Samford Invitational . . . was fifth in the A-Sun Championships in the 400-meter hurdles, running 59.32.

High School: Three-event state qualifier as a senior . . . competed in the decathlon and both hurdles.
