2007-08 ALL-OVC SECOND TEAM

2007-08 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, she posted the team's third lowest stroke average (79.3)...saw action in eight of Samford's 11 tournaments...had her best showing at the Ann Rhoads Southern Shootout, taking 11th place while helping her team to its first-ever first-place finish...was named to the 2007-08 All-OVC Second Team.

2006-07 (Freshman): Saw action in nine of Samford's ten tournaments during her freshman season...finished the season with the highest stroke average for the Bulldogs with a 74.2...grabbed her highest finish of the season in the ULM Fred Marx Invitational as she grabbed fourth place...carded the lowest round of her career with a 71 in round two of the Fred Marx Invitational while also recording her lowest three-round total score (225) in that same tournament.

High School: Attended Lenoir City High School in Lenoir City, Tenn....named to the All-State team in 2004-05...District and Regional medalist...ranked 14th academically in a class of 300...Received the Daughters of American Revolution Award.

Personal: Full name is Heather Ashley Arnold...born January 29, 1988...daughter of Kevin and Teresa Arnold...cousin played baseball at LSU...major is undecided.
